About Us

Solway Ceramics is a small business based in the heart of Dumfries & Galloway, South West Scotland. We have been producing quality hand decorated ceramics since 1989. We offer a range of products and services to local customers as well as those from further afield. The majority of our products are available in either bisque (undecorated) or as a finished piece ideal for giftware.

The business was started in 1989 in south east England where we supplied gift shops and galleries in the Surrey area. We held Hobby Ceramic classes during the last 7 years of our stay in England. We are now located in Scotland where we are re-establishing the business.

We have included a page about the local area. This is a very popular tourist area during the summer months and also plays host to a good number of craft and art shops.
